I slept late this morning Old Folks. Maybe won't need a nap ?

Hubby had emergency surgery on a Saturday because of a blown disc. He couldn't lift his arm above his week. And they put a titanium plate in his neck.

Yep I have plate and screws. Still holding up..surgery done years ago..can't remember exact year but we'll over 10 years.

I'm due for an epidural in my lower spine soon. Herniated discs that trigger the S word down my leg. I've never had a broken bone in my life but a few things I'd consider exchanging for a broken bone or two.

The Sciatica nerve is a bad one for me too. Did a couple of exercises and used heat. Finally got relief but was using a walker for about a week. Still bothers me, but not like that one time.

Just as leghorns are my favorite breed conformation wise, trail hounds are my favorite dog breed. I just love the look of them - easy on the eyes.

Took my Gracie to the vet. He spent quite a bit of time with her and me. We know the teeth are bad. Wondering is she's shaking because of a bad tooth. Or two. They're bad, and I take her in every year for cleaning. She's just old. He's pulled 4 from her already. Now he asks if I'm sure I want to have them cleaned considering all that she has going on. Another something he added this time, he's detecting a heart murmur. I told him that I couldn't imagine living with a mouth full of pain. He says, I'm not going to talk you out of it. I told him whatever happens. I have a sister that lost an older dog during teeth cleaning. If you could see her teeth you would certainly understand why I can't let her live with them like this. Friday she goes in.

Went to town for ice cream and came home with 2 cantaloupes, 1 watermelon, 8 bottles of soft drinks, and more that has left my mind besides 2 gallons of ice cream. Heat will do it to ya.
