When I was much younger, I made an observation that old people showed their age in one of 2 ways: 1. Their mind was sharp, but the body was shot. OR 2. Their body was good, but their mind was shot. For the most part, that still holds true today.

Got my knee injection after X-ray reveled bad arthritis in the knee. Now the waiting for it to kick in. Daughter is out with ma tending the afternoon coop check for water. Not happy they are.

Similar here! I have bone on bone arthritis in my left knee. It can take 3 to 5 days for the shot to kick in.

My wife has had 3 knee replacements for bone on bone. One knee twice then a plate in the big bone after it developed a hair line fracture. It's not easy getting old.
