The nougat is the complicated piece. I did notice that the nougat instructions called for cream of tartar but it's not in the ingredient list.
What the instructions call soft boil stage is actually soft ball stage, when a bit dropped in water makes a ball you can manipulate with your fingers. Hard ball stage is when the ball hardens and cracks.

I'll get the ingredients and the recipe printed and turn the project over to the master candy maker while I go and sweet talk the hens.
 
I am a self confessed chocoholic. Swear they will pry a hershey bar from my cold lifeless hand. Since I try to keep my sugar intake under 6 grams I haven't had on in ages though.

Last year my husband knowing how hungry I was for chocolate, hunted up some high coco chocolate with low sugar. I treated myself to two tiny pieces about every other day. God it was wonderful.

@CapricornFarm, that is what I was going to say, the eggnog isn't that bad but the rum that goes into it sorta kinda pushes it into the guilty indulgence column.
