The Old Folks Home

Seems everywhere today was a mob scene lol
After Costco we went to a 'touristy' area over in Pa. Again we lucked out with a parking place. 45 minute wait for lunch/supper, but we wandered around and admired the lights and decorations. I bought a coat for the Princess as a Christmas present. It was a really nice afternoon. Sheer bedlam when we left.

Busiest place I went to was Target in Lynchburg. I wanted to buy a metal shelf unit, had to get a guy to load it in the cart, then load it in the car. It was really heavy, no way did I want to lift it myself.

Raining Christmas here 98% chance. With no company I'm resting under the electric blanket.
We have a heated mattress pad. Same difference and sounds like a plan to me.

Ahhhh....cinnamon toast! Comfort food when I was little and sick.

Wish I could do Splenda or Stevia. When I did an elimination diet I discovered I don't tolerate any of them other than Sweet N Low.

You are a good husband, Sour.
I can't take Ma anywhere until after Christmas. She's low on oxygen and the supply house closed early for Christmas.... I'm ticked.
That sux! Seriously sux! Can she use a room air concentrator? Those things are fantastic and portable ones are available now. I had the room air concentrator for my mother when she was terminally ill and it was amazing.

She is on a waiting list for a portable. She has the large house model now. The portables are way to expensive to just go out and buy when patience will let ins cover most of the bill. Even with machines a bottle is kept in case of power outages.

Yep, they had a back up for my mother in case of power outages. I think her room air concentrator had a battery back up though, plus at the time I was living in town so if there was a power outage all I had to do was call and ask for priority power restoration due to her being on O2. Never had to do that.

When she was worsening, they brought in one of these humongous tanks for a back up as the concentrator wouldn't handle high levels of 02 that require a rebreather mask. I was glad they did as she wound up needing it.

Shame the company that supplies her 02 didn't check with you knowing a holiday was on tap. The one I used did.
