88° on the way to 92° and back down to 67° tonight.

I took a long cool shower sure helped.

Not so blasted hot today 77 don't think it will get hotter.
Made me a wild Berry drink.
Sure helps cool me cut off jeans on, cotton top hair up.

Me too. I'll admit to nothing less. "Gettin' old ain't for sissies." Mom, I am beginning to understand that.

Goodnight Old Folks. This old man needs a shower and his meds and a date with his pillow.

It hit 98 here, for the better part of the day. Dead air. Not a breeze stirring. Horrible. I kept an eye on my chickens, but the coop location, and design work with me, instead of against me, in the hottest of weather, so they did fine.

I'm waiting for a spice cake to finish cooling down, so I can frost it. Most of the time I just sprinkle powdered sugar on it, but this time I'll use vanilla frosting, and add just a little cinnamon, and nutmeg to it. It's the perfect complimentary frosting for spice cake.
