The Olive-Egger thread!

Pretty basic, but when I was trying the air cell by weight method I sorted out the formulas for loss based on grams, so all you have to do is input weights at the different days to get percentage lost.

I also put the rooster of each pen at the top, with a different color background, hens under that, color coded by hatch date and/or breed, then a space, and the same thing with the next roo/pen. When I move hens I just copy and paste that line.

It's easy to make a new tab and paste each pen in separately, or each hatch result. I use the same format for hatches, sorted by pea comb or whatever characteristics I want to keep or cull. I like being able to see everyone at a glance

Hey everyone don't know what everyone is selling their Olive Egger chicks for, I just got a catalog from a big hatchery in my area and they now have Olive Eggers, can you guess what they are selling chicks for???

I have the same catalog!

They have cream Legbars in there too but are not publishing a price for them in the catalog.

Nope not yet. It took a lot for them to get the Cream Legbars, they tried last year but it feel through, due to the birds they were getting were sick so they didn't get them. I will find out the price. From my understanding all the birds that are "pure" were obtained from breeders. What breeders...don't know
