Marans cross over an Easter Egger. Her eggs have changed color. They were a sort of hematite colored, but have become green. Here's a pic of eggs taken yesterday. Same hen is top right.

Hello All!
Has anyone tried a Barnevelder over an Isbar? I'm curious as to how the bird would look, as well as the egg. A speckled olive egg would be beautiful.

I have two Isbar over Black araucana pullets. They are adorable. They are both a mossy black with white lacing on their necks. They won't be laying for a couple more months. I'm expecting lighter green eggs, but you never know. if they are darker I'll post pics.

My OE laid her first egg today! It is lighter than we were hoping for, but since it is her first I'm hoping it will darken up a little. She is either 25 or 26 weeks (can't remember), and the first of her group to lay.

Her's is in the middle front row, between a EE and a BLRW.
