The Olive-Egger thread!

@gimmie birdies what's the purple pink gene?

mom hen was a mystery chicken, blue splash with rose comb, med size, but I hear langshen has a purple egg.
Croad's Langshans lay plum colored eggs but its only during the first part of their egg laying cycle, they become more a shade of pink as they get along in the season with a slight plum hue. I know a lady on facebook that sells their eggs, I just need to remember her name, will post as soon as I do.

Here are couple of links. 1st is to the lady that sells Craod's Langshans eggs and the second with just a cool picture of those eggs:

Hi, I have a girl who just started laying the most beautiful green eggs I have ever seen! However, I'm unsure exactly of her breed. I was told she was a RSL and Blue Copper Marans mix but now that she's laying that is obviously not the case. If she were RSL crossed with an EE/Ameraucana, would that make her an Olive Egger?
