I thought an EE could be anything that layed colored eggs no matter the genes. I would think a Legbar crossed to an Ameraucana would be called an Easter Egger, but would have two blue egg genes. Likewise two Ameraucanas of different colors crossed that produce non-conforming Ameraucana colors are supposed to be called Easter Eggers but would also carry two blue egg genes. Am I wrong?
