Well thanks neigbor. You will love her eggs. They are so pretty.Did you order the blue's or barred?

I have blues and barred from Patty in the incubator... I agree the eggs are very pretty!
My son is hatching and raising them for his 4H project... he calls them his Army Green Eggs

I would absolutely love to see pictures of your chicks if you have any to share... or if you might have some soon...

Well I got pictures this morning of my barred olive eggers from onthespot(Patty)They are so cute.If the bigger white spots on top of their heads means roo's I think I have 6 pulleys and 4 roo's but only time will tell. They are healthy little active boogers.

With most barred colored birds the big white spot generally means roo but I wouldnt say 100% but I'm guessing a very high percentage has the big white spot.Female's can have a small white spot but generally the big spot is roo's.Can anyone else help with this? Maybe you Patty?

Hey guys - did Patty (onthespot) ever post egg pics? She'd mentioned pages back that she was going to post some pics of the variety of shades of her olive eggers, but I think either I missed it or she hasn't yet been able to - if she's posted them, would someone let me know? Thanks!

I sent my little F2 olive egger (the one I posted pics of her eggs - "golden olive eggs" - earlier in this thread) to a friend who has Blue Ameraucanas. She's going to be there for long enough for me to collect a few eggs to hatch, and my HOPE is that the pullets will lay a very dark olive, without that golden cast to them. I'm so excited! I'll be setting these eggs 4/16...that is SOOOO far away! I know, I know...be patient....
