I have an Olive auction ending today and wanted to let everyone know that I have enough eggs to send 1 dozen+ to the winner AND a dozen+ to the runner-up!

Thank you!!

It means more than likely you'll get brown eggs, not olive. The blue egg gene is closely tied to the pea comb.

There are a couple people here that have single comb birds that still lay olive, but it's a crap shoot.

Just in case anyone might be interested... I have an auction that will be ending in a few hours for 15+ LF Barred Olive Egger Hatching Eggs that will SHIP ASAP. I've already collected 20 eggs! Here is the link - https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=477979

These
are really my sons birds as he wanted to have camo eggs last year as a 4H project

. He entered his sweet Olive Egger Roo, Popeye, in the "Backyard Section" at the Fancy Feathers Open Chicken Show this past weekend won a first place ribbon. The Olives got alot of attention at the show (and a few people inquired about purchasing them)... it was really fun for him to get to show them off... one of the hens even laid a beautiful olive egg in her cage at the show.
