The Olive-Egger thread!

15 eggs in the last 18 days from my first (surviving) OE layer...took two years of breeding to get to this point!

These are in indirect sunlight with a couple white leghorn eggs for perspective.

These are from a pullet out of a FCBM male and a barred easter egger who laid lots of BIG green eggs. Will breed these back to my Olive Egger (barred) roo and should get sex-linked babes. Will make the next year of breeding go a lot faster, I think!

It's definitely exciting to see those gorgeous green eggs in the nest box! These olive eggers are absolutely my faves as far as layers. All I've bred have laid huge eggs, are super laid back, and they just beautiful birds!
