He shook his head and looked at the ground and sighed.​

"Tawenhoek!" She called. "Tawenhoek, Sister!" She called into the woods. Tawenhoeks spirit appeared. "Malitiwah!" She whispered. "Please stay quiet, Sister. They are coming." Tawenhoek looked around. "Tawen, I can help you." Mali whispered. "Please, Sister, I do not want you to be hurt. Please go back." Then Tawenhoek disappeared.

Max then headed back into his cabin.

In the meantime, Adam was still trapped in the dark celler. He tried thinking up a plan.
