Mali fought against the chains, her teeth clenched. "There's no use, Malitiwah!" The Black Blood Ruler cackled. She ran a finger on Mali's neck, and electricity passed through her, making her scream in agony. "Outsiders, please!" She cried. "They are not your family! We are! Your levels of power are extraordinary!" Then the Ruler placed a spell on Mali. Her mind was tricked into thinking she was a Black Blood again.

Max came out of his house, hearing his name. He looked everywhere, "Jessie where are you?"

The Ruler laid down a protective layer, so that nothing could get in. "Warrior Malitiwah." The Ruler walked to Mali. "Ruler, ma'am." She replied, her eyes changed to golden, and she thought she was a Black Blood once more. The Ruler broke the chains. "Go make sure that the Outsiders will not get in."
