She nodded then yelled for Max and told him. "Where is it now?" She asked.

"The treeline."

Max instantly went and grabbed weapons for him and Mia. "Show us where it is." Max said and stepped out onto the grass with Mia.

" Lets go find it!"

She flickered her ears to the right, over there I believe.

Mia and max headed in that direction. Adam followed them.

Madge slunk through the grass behind them.

The Night Fury dropped down to the ground about 10 yards in front of them and 5 yards off to the left. He slunk towards them, trying to get close without provoking them. Then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw one of the villagers who betrayed him pulling back the string of a bow with an arrow loaded in. He traced the direction it was pointing, and found that it was going to hit one of the outsiders if something didn't happen to it. He thought ohh no, they can't help me if they get hurt. He sprinted forward and jumped. In the middle of his jump he let lose a fireball at the villager, which hit him dead center. The villagers body basically disappeared in the fireball, but his arrow didn't. The arrow, which had already been shot, hit the black dragon in its softer belly and sunk itself deep. The dragon let out one loud cry of pain, and landed hard on the ground. He had stopped the arrow on less than 10 feet from the outsiders; and he was now laying right in front of them on the path, breathing slowly and beginning to lose consciousness.

Madge pinned her ears flat against her head, her rich blue eyes searched the beast before she looked at the others.

The dragon rolled over and looked at the group with an expression that said "please, help me"
