We cleaned the cage and moved the guinea pigs to the top of the shelf, swept the floor, and hung the thermostat in the window so that we can see the heater working without going all the way inside.

We also moved the nest box to a different wall and lowered it down a bit so we can more easily see inside. In order to clean it out, we had to temporarily remove all the babies. Mr muddy put one on the inside swing and 1 in the guinea pig cage. Angel decided to be the wild child and fly outside with the others!

today was a bit warmer even though really muddy.....Tito was back outside with everyone while angel and rose had ventured out of the nest, they chose to stay inside. Jose and Bumbu are still not fully feathered so they are still in the nest.

I just went out and moved Tito to the indoor perch with Rose and Angel. I still worry that his flying skills are not good enough to navigate the window at dusk

@Kiki did you see the fat lil dummy Tito??? mr muddy pointed out today that the grey patch on his breast is actually shaped like a ‘W’

it’s only 47* right now but i saw that some of the babies were still outside after dark so i wen to put them up.....i first caught tito and angel and angel wouldn’t let got of my finger and scared tito back outside. i then put angel on the perch and went back out for tito and rose and finally got them both on a different perch!! hopefully they all stayed in there!!! they (like mr muddy) probably think i’m just the crazy bird lady!!! but at least they indulge me!
