Can someone tell me how to tell the colours and feather types of baby polish?

I dont understand what your asking. Colors and feather types?
At day 17 old, its too young to sex them.
I have no idea what mine are either.

the eggs are on day 17.

a separate question is asking how you know what colours baby polish will be as adults.
by feather types, I mean, can you tell if a chick is frizzle or smooth?

Not that I know. Unless you bought a specific breed and you only received that breeds eggs.
OTHERWISE....SURPRISE!!!!!!

Is I ordered specifically a Polish assortment of chicks. Now I know by the chicks colouring what I will potentially have. As far as the eggs, your guess is as good as mine. Surprise!!!! That's the fun of it. I don't know if I have male or female yet and I won't for many week. I would only keep a male if I could assure that the male would breed with like kind but, that is a personal choice of mine.
We can perhaps tell after a day or two after the hatch by the initial feather color. Esp if it is pure bred and not mixed with other breed colors.

I believe thats another name for a Buff Polish as I have two chicks. They are all a Vanilla color as chicks
