So the Greenfire line should be different.
Yes! We are very excited to get them crossed for new genes here in America.

Ours are darker in color than the pictures we see from greenfire. Ours have better conformation too
 
Awesome at what age do they start laying. They extra roosters could be available then for any of the older hens. Provided I’m not counting my chickens before they get old enough :lau
I still think there’s more roosters than hens in my bunch.

Generally the molt out with more black after the first juvenile molt. The get whiter in later years.

My one hen that I have left molted out very dark this year!
 
My line came from someone who brought them over from Spain 8-9 years ago. (Ron, do you remember the exact year? I would need to go back in my records to get the info.)
I checked my records and I hatched my first Pita Pinta the end of August 2013. So the line came over here from Spain 1-2 yrs before that. 😁
