The Pita Pinta Asturiana

I have cockerels going to the farm today and we are processing some older ones. One of the boys that is headed out to his new temporary home is a white legged one who was busy chasing my big black Langshan pullets this morning. All of a sudden, the hormones have started raging!

Thank you! And thanks to ronott1 for sharing his lovely flock. We all made it through the night, and I now have Day 2 questions that I posted in the feeding forum. These are my first chickens, so I am nervous about EVERYTHING.

Pita Pintas are good for learning chicken stuff. They are easy to handle, friendly and have been healthy so far.

They will be fine. With the scratch and peck, make sure they have access to grit. The sand should be fine for them but they do sell a small grit for chicks.

Relax and enjoy them.
