The Pita Pinta Asturiana

Hello all. There are 125 pages on this thread so I’m going to ask my question w/o scrolling all 125 pages. Is there a comprehensive list of PPA breeders other than Greenfire who are able to sell and send hatching eggs? I’ve searched to and fro but have not been able to find alternative breeders.

Thank you,

As far as I know, only the handful in California and Greenfire

@PetRock are you breeding this spring?

I will be. 😁 It will line breeding until I get some birds from Greenfire. I hatched 7 pullets and 11 cockerels last fall. I am going to put two of the cockerels over my 15 hens and my rooster Julio over his 7 daughters when they get a little older. I have one friend up here who Is going to breed them later this year. Other than that, I don’t know anyone else who is breeding them. It is challenging to breed when the gene pool is so small which is why I am glad that Greenfire has them. They are such awesome birds!

Good morning! Thought that I would share some pics of my weathervane birds! These young ones love to be on top of this coop!

Getting more going in the US will be very exciting!
