It’s a good thing we are going upstate when we are, cause the hurricane is expected to hit nyc and then go up through where we live, but Syracuse won’t get hit I think. Just hope our animals will be ok

Hey, did you change your username?
Yeah I am not really surprised by poor quality but it is a state fair so it’s kinda like reallly??? The Jr. birds at my fair were a lot better. The open show birds were better but not as good as the jr bitds. These dummies really are entering EEs as Ameraucanas….wtf
There was a few pure ones thoView attachment 2807384View attachment 2807386
This seems like a very lackluster show since the birds aren’t fantastic quality and a lot are in poor physical condition. But this isn’t the main fair attraction anyway.
That d’Anvers looks like he’d be a good pullet breeder.I did see one Danvers
No idea how good his quality is

plus some other cool breeds
Again no idea which of these are actually good quality.

Bird health yes. They shouldn’t emphasize missing feathers as much as they do because it’s summer when birds are at their worst but they still do. Your birds would def beat those examples since they look hatchery quality too and your birds are just gorgeous.@Amer question, do judges deduct points on poor bird health or ratty/missing feathers? I assume so. On that front alone my hatchery hens could beat out half the birds here
