Here is a picture of our 1 1/2 yr. Silver Penciled Rock male at the 2014 Hollister, CA show. Does anyone out there raise this variety?

This is a picture of our current crop of pulles at about 6 months of age, they were summer hatched. Some markings are not yet as clearly defined as the hens they were out of, so I am hoping that comes in as they develope. I would be interested in any breeding tips for this variety.

Hi schipperkemom Thank you for posting pictures of your Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks as they are very nice and there are a few of us out there breeding the Silver Penciled Plymouth Rock. Here is "Mr Fix It".....he is my project cockerel, designed to eliminate the brassiness often seen in Columbian males. I was taken aback by the tail I see coming in on this guy. Hoping I can transfer that tail onto some offspring in a few months!!

You'll find a lot of Rock Heads, of all the varieties, on this thread. Here we breed the very best, top quality birds we can. Most of the folks here share your love for the Rock and lots of us love the Barred Rocks particularly.

Hello, Schipperkemom! I've got a former supervisor that raised Schipperke; lovely, energetic, super entertaining dogs, they are!

Thanks for sharing pics of your birds. What line are they (who did yours come from)? Just curious, as there are (unfortunately) not a lot of we SPR breeders out there!
