Silkies can roost. Silkies go broody all the time, so they might not be "huddled" up, but broody. If you have further questions, please post in the apt section 

My Silkies Are Just 3 Months Old They Can't Be Broody. & The Roosters Also Do It Too? & I Read Many Articles Of Silkies Not Roosting
