Reply to four posts ago: Wow. So much for a great solution.... x.x A huge number of people in the world don't have backyards. There's a chronic shortage of space in many countries and there's barely enough space to put people, let alone animals. I personally think the only solution to improving animals' quality of life isn't to give them more space, because that wouldn't be possible everywhere. I think the solution is to reduce demand for meat and animal products. Probably not going to happen as the world grows more affluent...
