2012, because of the awesome effects and the heartening display of humanity.
The hunt for red october, because of the interesting technical aspect of the story and the song.
Tomorrow when the war began, because the explosions are great and it's an epic story that shows what ordinary people can accomplish... (from one perspective anyway)

I don't have a favourite long-running one, but The Bridge was good (that finished a couple of weeks ago) and I liked The Americans as well. I hope they make another season of that. I hear Under the Dome is starting again soon though, which should be interesting.

ETA: Wait! I totes forgot about Big Bang Theory. How awesome is that show.
