OMG! After dark!? all our friends always used to get driven over or we’d drive to them and we weren’t even that far technically. Couple miles maybe? Seemed far to us though. Even the one behind me would occasionally get picked up. I never thought it was weird but after reading how far you all went, I guess it kind of was!

Most of my after dark many miles away bike rides were with friends and when I was over 12. I've also been on my own since I was 15. I had bills to pay, I had to get myself to school, still pull straight As, and feed myself.

Yeah, I did homeschool for half of middle and for all of highschool

Homeschooling would not have worked out for us I don’t think thankfully though I was a little angel and nice to everybody so administration never messed with me lol I actually started feeling bad for how the kids would treat him as I got older cause I realized he really wasn’t that bad.
