Thanks guys. I miss her.. alot. The house just isnt the same without her clucking away. There is an empty spot where her cage used to be...I guess I didn't think you could love a chicken so much.
She was special, and i did learn something from her. I learned that going with your instinct, even when others think it is the wrong decision, is the best route. If I had listened to my father, and culled her as soon as she hatched, I would have never experienced somthing like that. I learned that showing compassion, and love for a creature, even a chicken, is rewarding.
I hope that in the future, if someone hatches a blind chick, they will see this post and realize that it can be done with love and patience...
