After Wes and Maya were done eating, they put their plates in the dishwasher and went to their rooms. Wes opened the door and jumped on his bed. He took out his phone. "Okay, great! Got to go, bye : )" He hit send and put the phone on its charger. "Okay, homework time." He grabbed his grey backpack and dropped it on his desk. Wes sat at the plain brown desk and took out his algebra, history, and Spanish homework. He quickly finished his algebra and history but got stumped on his Spanish. "Maybe Maya knows..." He muttered. Wes grabbed the paper and walked to Maya's room. "Can you help me with my Spanish homework?" He asked after knocking. Maya sighed. "Come in. What do you need help with?" She asked and he opened the door. "How do you say 'My birthday is the' in Spanish?" Wes asked. "Mi cumpleaños es el." Maya replied and turned back to her science homework. Wes nodded and walked back to his room.
