Sam walked into the shooting range and nocked an arrow. She took a deep breath, breathed out, and let it the arrow fly.

Weston grabbed a chocolate chip muffin and walked to the roof. He looked across the abandoned city and wondered if the war would ever end. He shrugged and ate the muffin in a few bites.
