The rehoming a rooster thread

Pics
San Jose, CA
Opal Legbar Rooster
4 months old & very healthy
Hatch date 9/1/21
Unvaccinated

I kept him as long as I could because he's so beautiful, docile and makes me so happy but he's starting to crow now and I want to be considerate to my neighbors so he needs a new home where he can live his best life. Sometimes he responds to his name Tony. He's worried when you go to pick him up but once he's in your arms he loves the snuggles. He doesn't peck or scratch people, very domesticated. He will be greatly missed.

Purchased a few weeks old from local breeder here is the description that was provided to me:

"Opal Legbar
medium sized blue eggs...
auto sexing chickens - able to sex chicks at hatch ...
friendly, bold birds with bright combs with whimsical, backswept crests...
Candace Waldon lines..."

Hello from Kansas City (go Chiefs!). Due to living in the suburbs , we have to have a “If you crow, you go” policy, and both of these guys have let loose. Both of them are friendly and roughly 12 weeks old. Pierre, the BCM, is going to be beautiful. Bloop, the blue polish, has been picked on a bit, but he’s holding his own. Let me know if you’re interested.

Location: Conway County, AR. (If interested PM for more info)

Name: Soldier

Breed: Cochin Bantam

Color: Black

Size: small (bantam)

He really is a sweet boy. First to hatch out of 3. To be honest he is in a pen so don't know how he would do if given the opportunity to really be mean. He is my sweet boy who will not come running but doesn't mind being picked up. I hatched him out of my Black Cochin Bantams. My beloved Little Big Shot is his dad. (First pic) Our hens, all three, look like this. (Second pic) This is him right after he hatched. (Third pic) This is him now. (Fourth and fifth pic) Feel free to ask for certain info, pics, or other such as weight and I will figure it out. He really needs to find a home since I can't have two roos and 3 hens. We would be willing to drive him 30 min. to and hour. Thank you!

This is my new account. I am still Cluck.

I do have an update on Soldier. I still have not got rid of him, but he has grown some more and I thought I would post some new pictures. I got a SOP. Looking at it he really is quite close to the standard.

I can't believe no ones grabbed this handsome fella and took him home with them! He's adorable!I don't have any Bantams but I wish I did!I only keep a few for eggs and free fertilizer for my garden. They're wonderful creatures!I love chickens!

This is Gabriel, who started out as Gabby because he peeped at me so much. Then he turned out to be a male. Hatched 7/8/2021, the parents were sold to me by a chicken show person who said they're cuckoo Leghorns, and I live in east central Arizona. I'm looking for a home for him. He's about 6 months old. Sorry about the lousy picture, he would not sit still for pictures so I put him in the cage to take one.

Gabriel needs a home!
