So "if" you were going to keep a male to use over either a RB female or a HRIR female, would you keep one with the darker stripes more similar toa the females or would you keep one like the less obvious striped ones?
Dang good question Sheri. I would watch the male that is in top pic middle bottom (second pic left bottom) and the one that has the dot and line on head, bottom right in both pics. I didn't really get any wheaten looking chicks in my hatches and most of my males had dark head lines (not as dark or as wide as the females) and good background color so for my BC1-B I am going to take the best looking male. I have that one that has a lot more HRIR characteristics at this point, better back, chest, tail, and wing carriage so if I put him over a HRIR then at least some of their offspring should have nice type. Then take the best from that cross and cross back to RB.
