Have been reading this thread but is long now. I'm backing into this project after finding out I started a few of these un-intentionally. LOL We have 2 almost perfect Crested cream Legbars cocks that found their way into my "egg house"...Our egg house had several different hens from several different hatches. Now we have "Super Barred mutts"...I didn't see anyone mention a cross Legbars with White Rhode Islands. We have resorted the egg plant and will isolate the RIR hens and will be getting some "white" to see if I can get the green egg. The Legbars I have lay blue eggs, so I'm curios to see how these turn out.
