t1m & skand -

Sorry to hear it, man. Been pretty busy with my head in the sand, but I knew something major was up with the thread title.

Prayers for ya, bro.
Sincerely.

Jim, there have to be BYC-ers in Maine that could harbor your best birds while you get settled in. Or folks somewhere along the way. Like a foster program. Think about and post a thread and see. Surely some kind of deal could be arranged so that your prime breeding stock is available to you in 4 months!!!

Slow down, Dude. Get a little help from your friends

Any way of putting a lean on the house and property for the amount you paid it off for? I mean, if they want it then at least get what you put into it out.

Just sounds like a suckie situation. Prayers that all goes well. Just don't leave BYC! We need that hippie humor and fun of yours around.

Just wanted to add that my Grandpa went through something similar with his family farm when I was a kid. He finally was forced to leave it, but he took all the fixtures with him. Yup, right down the the kitchen sink. LOL And those bratty kids that forced him out thought they could just move right in when he was gone. Can't live real well with no lighting and no bathroom - tub, toliet or sink. Took them a while.

I'm sooo sorry.

Wish I lived closer because if you built coops/runs for them I'd watch them all for you until you got settled and could take them back.

If there's 'favorites' you absolutely can't live with out, I would watch them for you if you want to ship them? Got 15 acres but sloooooow at coop building.

It's storming this week but it's not as cold as Maine, normally.

I'm in Tulsa and can help out with either temporary or permanent homes for some of them. Just let me know. I've been through something similar with what we now call "ex-family" and since we cut them out of our lives years ago, it has gotten much less stressful. I do understand where you are coming from.

Shelly
