It's an abandoned cabin? Oh, thank goodness. I thought it was a hunter's hut. Maybe the Hairy Flare can live inside it in peace then: Julia Gillard's NBN will probably set her up with the internet within days...

Gee, there's been so much controversy over the gov't connecting rural areas first. "Instead of using taxpayers' money to create infrastructure, they're using it to shut infrastructure down," says some Liberal MP. Glee.

Ya. I have no problems with rurals being first…

…but, then again, I am one.

You are? Cool! It's nice hearing about some rurals a bit closer to home

They say it's going to cost a lot of extra money though... maybe they would've saved more by rolling it out in the capitals first, but then again, I see nothing wrong with hitting the country, where the need is greater

No, no! I simply thought it might be Bigfoot. There were large areas of pressed down grass.

Pressed down grass.... maybe they could be preparing for deforestation! No! Do not let them cut down the natural habitat of the Hairy Flare!

Everyone in my family loves broccoli.

It must be genetic down here!
When the stuff is on sale, we buy maybe 5kgs of it from the supermarket and eat it every morning for maybe two weeks

I know!

I have just finished the last of my food for another five or six hours, a small packet of salted pretzels... which, incidentally, my mother refused to eat because they were made in Egypt.

What's wrong with that?

It's how they treat their workers in Egypt.

Really? Yeah, and I guess with the recent almost-war, things must've gotten pretty bad over there.
We're still seeing it all happening in Libya and Syria. *grumbles* War, war, no end in sight. And they're still not pulling us out of Afghanistan! I see no point in spending $2 bil taxpayers' money a week on this fight that appears to be going nowhere. Let's just follow the US's lead and agree to have everyone out by next year,

Finally! Someone agrees with me! Have you heard of AYCC? It's not related to egypt, but still.

I will stick signs in the ground proclaiming that the Hairy Flare Bear (Flarious Ursidae) is an endangered species, nearly extinct, and that its natural habitat is protected by laws. If that does not work, I shall tie blindfolded people to trees with thick metal chains, and then meld the ends together so they will never get loose!

Chaining blindfolded people? That's a little bit too drastic…

They're only blindfolded so they won't see the FlareBear. And I'd get someone to feed them and everything!
