The Rooster I Couldn't Kill

I always wanted chickens for pets and eggs, so when we got a mini rooster we didn't have the heart to kill him or sell him so we kept him. When he died we got all sad so we got another rooster. I don't think there's a problem with keeping roosters, because when a predator comes along they protect your hens and they always lead your hens the right way. Sometimes.
Anyways, I think your roo is worth keeping. He'd lead your flock the right way!

I had a Wyandotte cross warren rooster that looked like a buff laced Wyandotte, I thought he was so pretty and he was the only son of my gold laced Wyandotte rooster who sadly was lunch for a fox, so I couldn't bring myself to kill him but I already had pure Roos lined up for different pens so I have given him away to my friend frizzle13 who has a large run with a couple of mutts and pure breeds in so hopefully he can live out life there in happiness with so, hens of his own, he is also very tame

These are some pictures of him at frizzles waiting to go into the big run

he is so beautiful he has settled down perfectly and looks after his hens brilliantly

its impossible to get a none blurred shot of this boy as his wattles are permanantly moving, they are just so long. but he stays still if you take him away from his hens though.
