My roosters name is Knucklehead,I call him Knuck for short,he is a fine roo,he takes good care of his ladies.Not very human friendly though!What breed is he I want to know,I don't know much on breeds.

My rooster is a jerk, but I love him! Although he and I fight, I KNOW he would lay down his life to protect his flock!

I've dedicated a blog to my tussles with him, but he's proven himself time and again with his ability to manage our little flock. I guess I don't need him to be affectionate, I need him to be good at his job.

He's a three year old Australorp and when he first went aggressive on us we seriously considered dispatching him ... so glad we didn't!
