I have three Roos and four girls. I'm looking to re-home two of my Roos if anyone is interested! We love our boys and can't bring ourselves to eating them; they are so beautiful! Two are Easter Eggers one is a Road Island Red and I'm amazed at their colors. The boy we are keeping, Norman, is the most....spirited? It may turn out to be a mistake keeping him because he likes to aggravate the girls sometimes. He is also the friendliest (very split personality) - he will sit on my husband's lap and he talks to us and likes to be held. But he is very take-charge so I think he will protect my girls well. The others are beautiful too. I think they are more docile because Norman has asserted himself as top-cock so they avoid messing with him. They others are beautiful too. My husband says Gus, the Road Island Red, will get bigger than Norman - that could be a problem. And last is Compass. So named because as his feathers came in he looked like a pigeon. Now he's a very flamboyant colored pigeon. But alas, three boys on 4 hens just won't work and I'm just not ready to expand the flock. We eat a lot of eggs but not enough to justify more than a dozen hens. I will post pics when my phone charges enough to power on

Have you considered starting a rooster flock for the extra roos? https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/rooster-flocks.1174877/

I LOVE ALL ROOS EVEN IF THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY EVIL, I REALLY WANT TO MEET A SUPER MEAN ROOSTER SO I CAN HOLD HIM AND TELL HIM TO BE A GOOD BOY!!!! lol
Im weird! as you can seeeeeeeeee........

I have one like that haha he's HUGE and meaner than the devil, he'll tear your eyes out as soon as look at you. You could never free range him, he has a specially designed pen with a hatch door so you can feed him. This only person who can handle him is me and he turns on me sometimes too. But I love him.
