ok so i ended up at southern states yesterday with the intention of picking up 2 more layers. well i ended up with 2 bar rocks, and 3 straight run bantums, and of course since i had the kids with me, i also had the runt from the bantum cage. well i only have one brooder so i figured is give it a shot and put all five in the same one, its about 2x2. id say theyre all about 5 days. anyways, my runt who is about the size of a golfball completely rules the brooder right now, and we all think its absolutely hilarious. but are the any known reasons for this little one to be doing so well. its already put the rocks in theyre place and they are easily 4 times its size, and it just reminded me that its the loudest too. im hopeing to post some pics in a few weeks to try and figure out the breed of the bantums. but until then, any ideas why hes doing so great. all the other bantums were beating him up at the store and i figured he wouldnt last but a few more days, but now hes thriving so much he scared last night his crop was so stuffed. little pig.
