The eyes then seemed to get closer and a figure could be made, sort of.

Archer had no idea what they were talking about, but no way was he getting left behind again. He took the lead, sprinting away fleetly

Skye stared at the creature for a moment longer, then instincts kicked in. She raced off, her feet pounding softly on the pine needles

Archer snatched a glance behind him, and his eyes grew large when he saw what was after them

The person ran faster and caught up to Archer and kept its eyes on him.

Jason saw this and ran faster to get closer to Archer.

Archer could hear them right behind him, and glanced around desperatly for some way of escape. He swerved off to the side suddenly in an attempt to lose them

The person then begant to chase after Archer, keeping up easily. Then it grabbed Archer and claws dug into his shoulders.

Archer let out a yelp when he felt claws on his shoulders, and he instantly kicked out behind him. He had always been more a flight person when it came to defending himself in fights, so that was his natural impulse as funny as it must have looked

Skye glanced at Jason and Max, unsure what to do
