~*~The Shifting War - RP (Role Play)~*~

Julie looked at the girl carefully for a while in silence before speaking. She was very calm. Too calm for someone who knew the person they were casually conversing with had several guns on them. Also, Julie saw that she was looking past her head. She turned around curiously. "What are you looking at?"
Alice blinked and looked directly at Julie when the other girl spoke great, now I have to tell her I can't see and get the whole 'you shouldn't be out here' speech She thought and frowned then sighed "I am blind, I was trying to look at you, and before you say anything about it, I know the dangers of being out here without sight." She said getting defensive. She hated that she couldn't see. She still remembered what it was like to be able to see the world around her like most people did.

Mark smiled and nodded "Alright, we will see you when you get back then" He said then glanced to Zack "See you at work" He said then looked back to Ryan "If we could get one of the keycards, I can go and get our bags, and bring them in. We left them hidden when we went to the hill you were on."

Ari came back into the apartment and settled on the couch"Bye Zack, Ryan. We'll see you later" She said and smiled at the two boys.

"Oh, yeah, I'm sorry I forgot," Ryan apologized, then walked back to his desk, and took two keycards out of a envelope, then returned to Mark, "Here, one for each of you,"

Zack pressed the elevator button, and the doors slid back, then turned to face them, "Bye, bye, come on Ryan, the elevator waits for no man." He said jokingly, then proved it by having to stop the doors from closing with his arm, "See?"

Ryan sniggered just slightly, "Good bye, then," he said, looked to Mark and Ari in turn, then joined Zack and they boarded the elevator.

The doors closed and started down, "So, do you invite strangers to hang out in your place often?" Zack asked jokingly.

"Actually, yes," Ryan answered, "two weeks ago, I let a couple from Long Island spend the night, before that there was a woman from New York that stayed the week end, and then th–"

"Okay okay, I get the picture," Zack cut him off, rolling his eyes.

"A what?" Asher turned his gaze back at her again, raising a brow in his comical way. "They don't normally attack people, do they?" He asked. Ash was no animal genuis, but knew enough to know that it indeed wasn't normal. He shrugged it off though, couldn't been anything.

"No, they don't, not to my knowledge, anyway," Khloe said, thought for a moment about it, then decided to tell him, even if he thought it was crazy. "You wanna know what's really weird? Just before it flew out of the undergrowth at me, I thought... I thought I saw a guy there, with white hair."

Asher listened silently until Khloes last sentence, the one that imediatly snapped his attention back to the conversation happening. It sounded suspicious, much like the shifters he had occasionly seen in the forest. Of course, the girl didn't know he was one himself. And Ash believed she wasn't one. So he decided to play dumb, and looked at her with a supposedly perplexed and confused frown, slight tilt of his head added for effect. "A person with white hair... sending their bird to attack. Not your usual" Ash mused

Mark took the cards and watched the two leave then looked to Ari and handed her one of the cards "Stay inside please. I will be back shortly."

Ari sighed and nodded "Alright, I'm going to get a shower while you get our bags" She said and stood, heading to the room they were to use "Don't take too long, brother" She said before disappearing around the corner.

Mark sighed and went to the elevator and pressed the button to leave to go get their bags from their last camp in the woods to bring them to the apartment.

Khloe rolled her eyes, being that she had a funny suspicion that what she had seen was not a trick of the light, and actually someone like herself and Zack, though she had thought they were the only ones. "Not sending it, I thought I saw him become it." She said, a little defensively, then changed to a more playful tone, "haven't you ever heard story's about Shapeshifters? Ever thought about it, that they could be real?" Khloe knew she was dangerously close to reviling what she was to this guy, which Zack had warned her about countless times, but she didn't care.

Julie shrugged. "So what? I don't care. I'm not your mom." She crossed her arms. "Why do you like it so much out here?"
Alice blinked and tilted her head "You would be the first not to give me that whole speech on how I can't do this that and the other because I can't see. I like it out here because it's calming and peaceful. It's too busy and stressful at home." She said then shrugged a little and smiled

Asher narrowed his eyes a bit. He had a funny feeling about where this was going, and it would either be down the road to official absurdness, or a road he knew much better. "Uh huh," He said rather bluntly in reply to Khloe's first statement. "No, I haven't heard stories. But I have thought about it" Ash said, as if it made complete sense. It would, he figured if she on the slightest, off chance was a shifter herself- odds he utterly and completely doubted
