Alice chuckled at that "Why not indeed. I wanted to and if I get my way I eventually will" She said and tilted her head to listen to a bird calling in a nearby tree

Asher tilted his head at her rather sudden question, picking up on the tone she spoke in. She was starting to sound awfully suspicious, and he wasn't quite sure what to think. Can't be. His stubborn, disagreeable side insisted. But there remained the slightest hidden glimmer of hope as Ash answered, "Yes, but I don't know of any. Why?" He watched Khloe carefully for her reaction, almost fooling himself into believing that she might be another of the 'mysterious' shifters.

Alice chuckled and shook her head "Yeah night and day don't matter to me anymore. I will be sure to ask before I choose a place to build, if I ever do." She said then sighed "Speaking of that, what time is it?"

And there it is, the right answer... Khloe thought, the relief showing on her face, if he had said no, it would be a whole different story, she would have agreed, and that would be that, but he had said yes. Now, all she had to do, was shift her eye color, and without having to straight out tell him, it would be said.
With her gaze still on Asher, she let the green of her eyes fade, as it was replaced with the bright amber of a cheetahs eyes...

Despite Ashers hopeful thoughts, it still gave him a bit of a fright to be honest when her eye colour changed, and he stared at her a moment before his mind finally clicked. "Are you?..." He started, even though it was now obvious that this girl he had met by chance down the road, was also a shifter.

At first, Khloe thought she had chosen wrongly, and looked away sharply, eyes returning to green, I should have listened to Zack, he was right, I can't be who I truly am, ever... She thought, angry with herself for being so foolish as to think Asher might be fine with it, that he could accept it. But then, she looked up again as he asked, "Are you?..." and a flicker of hope came back, and after a long pause, she replied in a soft, quietly voice, "Yes..."

Asher held his steady gaze on Khloe, eyes wide with shock after discovering he indeed wasn't the only shifter around. It took him a long moment to get his head around the fact, but finally replied after she confirmed it by saying 'yes'. "You do realise you're the only other shifter I've met before" He said in his simple, rather blunt way. That was always how he spoke when in shock, which wasn't often.
