Your right. I googled it and that's what she looks like. It said that they are great with people and kids but this one sure isn't. Will see. What ever she is we're glad she's here.
When we got here from the feed store she had a light green spotch on here head that why my daughter picked that one. . I didn't think much about it till later but I know in breeding dogs they sometime paint the top of a puppies head with a water soluble paint to keep track of ones that are special or have already been sold. Do they do the same thing with baby checks and if so at a large hatchery? It don't sound right. I googled the chick when we got here and found no breed with a green head. It was almost lime green color. Thank u for your reply

I Might Can add some insight here. I ordered Chicks From Cackle Hatchery In Febuary. Orderd 15 pullets and 3 cockrels. When the Chicks arrived 3 had a green mark on their head and on the invoice the 3 cockrels had the same color (looked like permamarker) beside their line. The 3 chicks did indeed grow out to be cockrels and the green stayed on till they lost their chick down and started feathering out.

I recently added two wyandottes to my flock and am looking forward to how beautiful they will be! Can anyone help me with their sex? They are both supposed to be pullets, but they don't look alike anymore. Wendy and Lacey were the same size at a few days old, but not anymore. Wendy is bigger and wider than Lacey. Her feet are getting huge. Lacey's tail is longer and narrow too.

I already have a Dominique roo who I think will kill any new roos.

Wendy on the right with her BR and EE friends at about 2-3 weeks

Wendy at 4-5 weeks

Wendy 4-5 weeks in the front.
