I think I have 1 cockerel and 1 pullet. The slower feathering, creepy looking chick on the left has a much wider, bumpier comb than the chick on the right. Are Sizzles any easier to sex than Silkies?

These are such great birds. They are not only adorable but they're functional. My little hen in # 862 took a lone chick this morning, that hatched in the incubator. I was so happy since all other chicks being brooded were much larger, a bit older, and picked on the little tyke. You can bet there will be more of these around.

here are some updated pics of one of my smooth sizzle hen.
would she be considered brown red?? I know silkies doesn't have that color, but cochins do.

I'm not sure what color to call her but she is beautiful!!
