The Sizzle Thread!

Pics
these are my two smooth sizzle roos, witch would be best to breed with??
I'm going to be breeding to a black silkie a few blue silkies and my smooth black sizzle ( she has a little gold leakage on her chest, the first two pics are of her)

this is roo number 1, he just started crowing this morning. his problems: not a good crest, some of his tail feathers curl in, and he has leakage every where so his offspring will have leakage also right??

this is roo number 1 and 2 together

this is roo number 2 he is about a month younger than roo number 1. his problems: has a little leakage coming in on his neck.

roo #1 with dad behind him

roo #1

I guess my question Is not witch roo is better its (since they both have leakage) should I breed for that color and use roo #1 or try to breed that color out and use #2 bc he has less leakage. and if im not mistaken wouldn't this color be called birchen since a brown red cochins was used to make them??

I like reading about them and looking at the pics but I won't even have anything breeding age to make sizzles till next year. Still trying to decide which ones I am going to put together as far as colors go.

I know how you feel. I still havn't got a single egg from any of my sizzle hens yet, their right at 8 months. I'm also going to mix her with some blue silkie Roos.

if any ones looking for a cuckoo sizzle roo, i got a really sweetie that i'm looking to move on. he's done such a good job for me the year but looking to keep one of his sons for next year. 15 out of the 15 eggs i set hatched so i know he's fertile and an amazing 10 out of 15 being frizzled!!!
heres some of his chicks.......

at the moment he's missing some of his face feathers but his mom was black silkie and his dad was a cuckoo cochin. and has produced sizzles, silkie, and frizzled silkies. all but 3 where cuckoo.
so hoping i can find the guy a good home
