I really hate to admit this; but after going 30 days without a smoke,I caved in and went and bought a pack.

As I have said before..don't worry if you fall off the quitters train...just get back on board...together we can all do this, but it is important to update as much as possible...I am now down to three a day........but will admit to always wanting more!!! ........

You can do it........

Well, as most of you know by my own phone book ripping thread...I wont say Im quitting....but I have cut down from 30-40 cigarettes a day to ONE. ONE ONE ONE ONE. But, I think about having one almost constantly. all day.

Health wise, I have been scared to death by my doctor...so, I am doing this for my children. They need their mom. I intend to stick around, so I am trying harder than i have ever tried before.

So, Hello.

Just take your time, and don't stress, you will get there.

I thought this thread had gone quiet since I have been away.

I have been really fortunate that I have been kept very busy lately, but even then I have had some bad times. Thankfully made it through so far, but that is no guarantee.

It is very hard, so don't get mad with yourself that just makes it worse.

Just get yourself up and start all over again, and slowly it will start to become a part of your thinking that you just don't need your ciggies as much as you need to be healthy. (Can't your doctor offeryou any help)

Thinking of you, and still hoping I can keep going,

Chin up, and best wishes to you.

Jena.
