I have some pics of my own now:

These are the JG's babies, they really haven't grown much........None of the actual JG's though, because they don't like cuddles......

Anyways! This one's mama was an EE and it takes after her for sure:

When we were discussing the flea thing...
YULK I have fleas so bad in my house... I am almost desperate....

I have put frontline on them (for 4 months straight now)
I have bathed
I have hand picked with tweezers
I have vacuumed
I have steam cleaned
I have used tea tree and eucalyptus
I have sprinkled Borax
I wanted to try putting a light over a dish of water at night, but the fire risk does not seem worth MAYBE catching a few fleas.

I have no idea what to do next...

And they are only going to get worse when the ones outside start breeding in all the dead leaves this fall.
I DO NOT WANT TO BOMB!!!

Do guineas eat fleas? I might just get a few house guineas...

PS I would like to state that Borax does not kill fleas. Not right away, not within hours. In fact, they will even burrow in it. I have 2 in a container with borax... they are still alive from this afternoon.

Unfortunately with all that you have done bombing is your only solution. Furthermore the longer you put it off the worse the situation is going to get. Fleas have probablly began to infest your carpet and draperies so frontline on your pets just keeps your pets safe. Let us know what happens.. good luck!

EDIT: sorry you do have one other option... move to another residence but you cant take anything you own with you.. not even your clothes.

I'll have to ask what my mom what it is, but something she mademade destroys fleas. We had them sooooo bad once. We have a bunch of brick and stone in our house and they burrowed in the cracks. You just sprinkle it all over, let it sit and walk over it for a week or so, then vacuum. Then do it again. It really worked for us. :). I know though, it sucks. We had six months of living hell, we were seriously going to move into our house that was only half rehabbed it was so bad. My arms and legs were COVERED in bites.

Bombing doesn't work. We did it, three times.

BTW, front line just makes flea eggs unable to hatch, so it takes a long time to kill them. (A friend's mom worked for front line told us.)

Bombing would be just as much work as moving.
Packing up all the food
Rewashing ALL the clothes and blankets
Wiping everything down.

How long does the house have to stay unlived in before all the fleas die? I wonder...
