Ahh the rest of those posts are too much for me lol.

So the infusion went well yesterday. I went to the doc first and asked two questions: could I have my infusions at home (BF's mom does) and could I move them from every 8 weeks to every 6. He said no to the infusions at home but he's letting me go every 6

Today I see a doc about my rarely working finger that I busted when I fell off the porch a few months ago!

Oh and my son has a job interview

today.

Yesterday before my infusion I went and met with my daughter at the place shes living at now. She found a doll that my grandma gave me when I was born. It's a black doll with it's original clothing that was made the year I was born (1969) which was unheard of back then! I thought it was gone forever!!! I had wanted to take it home for years but my grandma wouldn't let me. She would make her bed every morning and put the doll, Jason (no idea why I named it that lol) on her pillows. One day I went to her house and it was gone. I asked her where she was and she said "I gave it to your daughter for Christmas". There was two problems with that. She always called my DD by her name and she didn't plus she knew what it meant to me so she'd never give it away unless she didn't remember. Less than a year later she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's!

My DD lost it and I thought I would never see it again. When I got it yesterday I sat in the truck staring at it and crying. Silly maybe but it was a huge deal! So, that totally made my day...my year!!!

Oh and yesterday I already got an appointment to do Halloween photos with 9 kids!!! That's ok, I can handle that because they won't be indoors!!

I went, said my peace, and dipped out........... Didn't want to, feel kinda bad that i didn't get to mingle with the representatives, (Or talk to my BYC friends:( ) But DH informed me this morning AS i was getting ready to go that we have an appointment to go to....... Aaagh. He has no clue, as usual

I can totally be saving lives on here, and he will not believe me...........I don't think he fathomed the bigness of this meeting at all.

At any rate, there was only 4 of us there to speak, and the irony was that we knew more about what was going on than the representatives did!

No wonder there's not a big fuss about it, they are literally flying it through! The representatives will get their copy in Oct, and then vote in Nov! Couldn't tell you all i said, i didn't do a prepared speech (hope i sounded ok) but i did approach it as a consumer, and talked about the financial impact on small businesses, and stressed the fact that i was trying to buy local and keep my money in MI, and also made the point that urban backyard flocks have done a lot in cleaning up the agricultural image. I also pointed out the lack of provision for SMALL flock owners, the part where 1 chicken factored the same as 5000! At least one or two of the representatives didn't seem aware of that fact, that even in proper zoning space requirements could affect ALL small farmers! THAT at least got one's attention. He asked where he could get a copy sooner so he could read about it. :) I figured that would get their attention better than talking about my chickens. Not that they aren't important, but economy and image were factoring big in what the representatives had talked about before we got up there. I just tied my thoughts into their thoughts, hopefully

I hadn't planned on speaking, but there were so few of us........

I wished I could have made it there... I have to take Jace to school, and then it would have been a 40 minute drive to get there... Its so sad that only 4 people showed up at that meeting though... Just goes to show how much the actual PUBLIC does not know... I should contact the Sentinel... See if they'd do a piece on it...

Today I have an unexpected day off... The little boy I watch woke his mama up with a fever of 103*! She said he has never had a fever before and other than being whinny he is just fine.
fl.gif
Please, don't let my son get sick! He already has a cough from the weather changing and hasn't had a fever in 2 years!
I know that we are lucky to have such healthy kids! But everytime my son gets sick BF thinks that we have to go to the doctor...
I want him to build up immunities naturally so he can be a healthier person. Every cough and sneeze is not a reason to take him to the doctor. They don't do anything for colds anyway!

give the lad a shovel, a corner of the backyard and a tell him to dig a hole... play in the hole... give him the water hose, and have some real fun playing in the hole. I have found that the dirtier my kids get, the less they get sick. Albeit, that makes for one hell of a dirt ring in the tub... but, they haven't gotten ill in quite some time...

I just had to go out and do the BIG BAD MAMA and check all my birds. There was a stinking fit going on outside, everyone was hiding in thicket and the coops. Even the silkie chicks were in the CS chicks coop hiding. I do not know what it a cat or a an arial, but no one was missing. I am thinking arial though... Even the squirrels were doing their evil mad noise... SO... Well everyone is good.

My son is almost NEVER sick! That is why when he does get a cold BF thinks we should rush off to the ER...
I do let him get dirty. I feel bad sending the other one home dirty but at least they know he had fun!

I remember my mom letting me dig in the compost pile and play chef... Now that I think about it, it was gross but oh so much fun!!!
