I am rather concerned that a 12yr old is up talking about chickens @ 23:00+ on a weekday...

 

My parents run a restaurant and don't get home until 12:00 then want to watch Mad Men (so did I, but that's not the point), school doesn't start until Tues. and I do school online. I also like talking about chickens. What else is there to say?

I just went and looked at them. They are laying side by side..they always have to be next to each other it's so cute! They definitely do cheer me up. My BF said I could get more next month!

Get this. I had an ad on craigslist looking for female call and muscovies. Someone emailed me saying they had some. So I emailed this person, all along thinking it was a guy because the name on the email said David. So we emailed and txt'd several times then we drove out there. It was the same street as my BF's brother's girlfriend's sister (that's a mouthful!) and we thought we were going to pass her...but it turned out it was her!! LOL

But, Aric had never seen Misty but once. As I was looking at the ducklings and talking to the woman, he said "Bret didn't tell me you had ducklings!". She looked at him funny and he said "I'm Bret's older brother Aric!". We thought we might get a better deal so I could get more than 2 but that's ok, I'll just get more next month because she has a broody sitting on several eggs!!

So here's my sweeties again. They're 2 week old muscovys. I sexed them and I'm pretty sure they're both female. They need names. Most of my ducks have human-like names, nothing really cutsie, except for Penguin, my old male muscovy. Help!

I spent most of my childhood in hospitals. I read a lot so I learned a lot (no computers!) so I was told the same thing. I was smarter than some people (despite having multiple brain surgeries) and it threw them off! I loved it! lol
