I have had chickens do that. They eventually get it right LOL and trust me, when you retire you WILL find yourself busier than when working. You'll start to wonder how in the world you ever had time to work.

I have had EEs be erratic layers too my bday girls for last years still do not lay on schedule .. i just get random eggs

I keep meaning to ask you if Huey is still around. I miss that bowling ball. Just curious if he is still livin or not. I think my family rather likes those NOTmeaties enough that I may intentionally try it again in the Spring. Or not. Nah, probably not. It was sad when Mrs Huey died.
