Here we go! Looks like... yeah, there's something beating on the doors on either side. Bending them. *The guards in the video all lift their rifles, and then all the containment doors explode out. There is a brief glimpse of raptor-like creatures and humanoid beasts with huge claws, then the camera is hit by a stray bullet*

Well, that's not very helpful.

Are you kidding me?! How do you think those doors blew out? An ELECTRICAL SURGE. Get it? Zeus + electricity = VERY VERY VERY BAD. Oh, hey, it looks like there's a logbook here. And a dead body. Whaddya know, there WERE people in here! *Picks up the logbook, which is really just a personal computer designed for the purpose*

Jan. 3rd - First day on assignment in Area 51. Got assigned by the Major to biohazard bay 17. Pretty creepy down here, especially with all the screaming critters. Still, we've got some tough guys as guards. I feel downright puny! We've all got big guns, though, so no worries, especially with the giant .50 cal up on the balcony... *Computer fritzes*

This is going to suck. .50 cal? I don't know what that means, but it sounds bad. Well, bad if it's not on our side. Am I rambling? .50 caliber. It's a VERY powerful powder-based weapon. The hydrostatic shock would probably make your head explode if you were hit. Here we go, it's back on. And yes, it IS necessary. *Voice recording again*

Jan. 5th - Didn't have any time yesterday to log. Had some problems with a specimen. It somehow busted up the electrical shield we had containing him. Took us a while, but he finally was forced back in. We've been using magnetic and plasma shields since then. It seems capable of controlling electricity to a degree. Got to check out the hybrids today. Weird stuff, chimps and raptors combined. They look like people, but with BIG teeth and claws, and they are REALLY strong.

Jan. 17th - Wow, we've been busy. Nearly had a breach in the raptor facility. The Greys are planning something, there's no doubt about that. Probably still angry about the Roswell thing. Command has tripled security personnel. All the big guys have been issued grenade launchers and pulse shotguns, so we should be safe. Those hybrids are daggone fast, though, so if there's a breach the grenades probably won't be too useful. *Fritzes again*
